- The former lab member, Zhen Xie (谢震) was recruited by Tsinghua University (清华大学) as a full professor in 2011. The university is ranked #1 or #2 (varied from year to year) in China and among top 100 university in the world. We are very proud of him. You may want to visit his website.

- Zhen Xie is the first UNLV graduate accepted by Harvard University as a postdoctoral fellow. He will work in the FAS Center for Systems Biology, starting July 2006.
