- Anne (Nikki) Jinky Villacastin successfully defended her Ph.D. dissertation on July 14, 2022. She will join Dr. Jenny Mortimer’s research group at the Berkeley Lab as a postdoc in Septemper 2022. Shen Lab is proud of Nikki's achievements and looking forward to hearing great news from her in the future.
- Keeley Adams has been accepted to School of Medicine, Uniformed Services University. He is heading to Washington D.C. in early August, 2022. This program pay all his tution and give him a unbelievably high stipend for the duration of the program. It is an extremely competive program. Congratulations!
- Adriana Baker joined the University of Texas Health San Antonio MSTP (Medical Scientist Training Program) as an M.D./Ph.D. student in Sept. 2021. This program pays her tuition, other school-associated costs, healthcare, and gives her a stipend for the duration of the program. It is an extremely competive program. Congratulations!
- Fredrick Bragg Jr. has been accepted into the LSAMP Spring Semester Research Exprience for 2020. We look forward to his accomplishments!

- Zhen Xie is the first UNLV graduate accepted by Harvard University as a postdoctoral fellow. He will work in the FAS Center for Systems Biology, starting July 2006.
